Anastrozole Tablets General Overview
Anastrozole Tablets are an alternative for the “gold standard” of anticancer agents – Tamoxifen, when Tamoxifen has been used for a long time and needs to be replaced, or, in cases when Tamoxifen administration is ineffective. Used against male gynecomastia, at a dosage of 1 mg (1 tablet) daily. According to some sources, it is enough to take half of a tablet. When combined with Tamoxifen, the effectiveness of the drug is reduced.
Anastrozole is much more an effective drug than Tamoxifen. It helps to reduce gynecomastia even when in parallel are taken steroids.
